Art in Hyderabad – Meetup Group organised by Karen Rampel
This one is a Live Open drawing session.
Many budding artists, housewives, art teachers attended the session at Poecile,
Banjara Hills – a spacious studio cum art gallery hosting painting of famous
artists.
The session was open studio without instructor where all serious artists
are welcomed, especially beginners who can work at their own pace in a
supportive, critique free atmosphere.
The models are friends and acquaintances who would like to pose. Getting the model to come for more than one session is preferred so painters can have more time to complete their portraits.

The session consists of five, 3-minute poses to 15 min poses ranging from two – 5 different poses for the session. The model takes a break for 10 mins between each pose.
In all, it was a good experience to meet so many artists and model who finds pleasure and time in these acts of creative art.
